Still waiting on name check clerance since April.
Just called FBi this week. They don't take phone inquiries anymore only emails.

I read on another thread that it may them 3-4 weeks to respond to he email.

HAs anyone had anyone had any luck getting through them recently?

I have a question if a person enter the U.S legally then he violate his statue, in case he win the DV Lottery will he be able to adjust his statues to permanent resident in the United states or not. Thanks

Antton,

To my knowledge, you will not be able to adjust status with DV lottery without being subject to the 3 year bar if you have overstayed your visa more than 180 days, and to the 10 year bar if you have overstayed longer.

Overstaying your visa may be forgiven if you adjust your status through mariage to US citizen.

That's all I know.
