Sprint, Father's Day is like that for me. It's the first Sunday in September, not whenever it is in the US. Will take some getting used to!

And it's mother's day today here already. My 17 year old dragged me out of bed to elicit my assistance with an MP4 player he got for his birthday.

The conversation went like this:

"What day is it?"
"Sunday"
"Yes, but what day is it?"
"The 11th"
"I know that. But what day is it?"

After about 10 minutes, he finally remembered, gave me a hug and made me a coffee.

I forgot you are our tomorrow so to speak, so you celebrate it a day before us

Strange Father's Day here is same as UK..but not mother's day. I wonder how they chose dates.
