I would like to ask a lawyer here or anybody else that have experience with such an issue if I can immigrate in US and obtain the Green Card even if I dont have a work offer and a family there. I do have an advanced degree in psychology and many other achievemts in the field (maybe I qualify as the first or second preference on work based immigration). Here are my achievents:
- Master degree in Psychology (2001) earned in Italy and officially recognized as equivalent in US by www.ierf.com - Family Mediation degree (2 years)earned by an accredited Italian school and officially recognized as equivalent in US by www.ierf.com - 1 year or parctical experience with assesments (evaluating patients) - 4 more years of practical experience as counselor and psychologist in several counseling centers and clinics in Italy (eperience started even before my master degree) with more than 100 documented treated cases. - 8 extracurricular works in Training in Psychology projects - several (5-10) works published in National publications - Member of 3 international psychological association - One e-book published about infedelity in marriage - can present raccomandation letters if needed.
Any lawyer can tell me if I'm eligible for the first or second preference work based immigration? Is there anything I have to know or add to my resume?
Michal, Watch out, Josie Joe is married. Can you please send her the e-book you wrote on infidelity in marriage? Did the book support infidelity or was it against it? Was the book in English or Italian?
About your immigration case, you need to find an employer who is willing to sponsor you, first, unless you want to use Josie Joe's methodology.
Jonh, thanx for the suggestions about Josie Regarding my case, I heard that there are cases which allows you to immigrate even if you dont have any specific employer that needs you. I dont know if its a real thing or a peper thing only. Anyone has experience with that? And another question: if your immigration visa request is denied, does that affect in some way further visa requests? Thanx folks
