Why on earth are they so far behind? It is been over a month and they are only 15days farther?I don't understand what is taking so long..These are people's lives.. Vermont is doing application's in less than 90days.. I am so frustrated at this point.. We are 84days into this process..More if you count the paperwork NSC lost the first time it was sent into their center in November.. I seriously know of a couple who has been married and divorced in the time we have been waiting.. My fiancee is college educated-no criminal record for either of us- I haven't even had a speeding ticket- never been on welfare... It is insane..And there is absolutely no recourse whatsoever...

You're 1/2 way there Tj. Hang in there. It's been a long haul for all of us.

1st Noa was March 27, 2003. I have known my Fiancee almost 3yrs.. We didn't send in the paperwork because I was opening my own businessin Sept. of 2001 and knew I wouldn't be able to show enough income so we waited and then the business burned in April of 2002. So it has been a long drawn out process for us, not that I regret because he is a wonderful person..I know it will all be worth it- I just can't believe how long the process it taking..I guess I am just being whiny..Thank You all for your support..It's very nice of you..

Whiny my ass; we need to get our papers asap. Dont feel guilty about complaining about all this rot with these BCIS people. They are so damn lazy. If they gave this kind of shoddy treatment to Americans, it would be all over the news. I guess we are second class residents so we are supposed to 'swallow it up'.

I kind of disagree to a point. Tj and myself are Americans, and we're going through the same hell as immigrants go through. So, they are giving "us" the same shoddy treatment that immigrants are receiving, and it's not all over the news.

But you're right, there's nothing wrong with complaining about the situation. These people at the BCIS are slow, and I think that if "National Security" is really such a big issue, we shouldn't be giving $80 Billion in tax cuts, but rather beefing up agencies such as the BCIS. IMHO.

i thought you might like to know i have found an approval for 22nd jan today havent completed the search yet so dont give up hoping just yet , i dont think nsc even think that people are behind each and every application but keep your chin up girl and whine if you want to we all know what your going through and it helps to have friends who know as well doesnt it polaris x lol ,,,,,, hey where is sols anyway ?

dwaarf2, I'd like to help, but what do you mean by "volunteering?" Is there a way to search for other records. I've done the davehollis page. What else can I do?

we are volunteers to search the nebraska database to get ALL 129f info we have only just started but people dont seem to want to work at finding the info this way they just want updates are you interested in helping ? takes about 10 mins t o do 1 search is all ?
