And why...

1. Ronald Wilson Reagan (Defeated Soviet Union, Advocated smaller government)

2. Abraham Lincoln (Freed slaves from Democrats and defeated Democrats in Civil War)

3. George Washington (First President, Great General, Honesty)

4. Richard Milhous Nixon (Checkers, Honesty, Intelligent, Bombed commies in Vietnam)

5. Teddy Roosevelt (Spanish-American war, Great White Fleet)

Teddy Roosevelt on Immigration:
"We must Americanize in every way, in speech, in political ideas and principles, and in their way of looking at relations between church and state. We welcome the German and the Irishman who becomes an American. We have no use for the German or Irishman who remains such... He must revere only our flag, not only must it come first, but no other flag should even come second."

"In the first place we should insist that the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equity with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming an American and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any flag of a nation to which we are hostile. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Theodore Roosevelt 1919.

Today the USCIS does the exact opposite, if you should behave, or appear too American, you will be denied AOS for that reason alone. I know this for a fact, as I'm living proof of it.

The only thing un-American about America, is the USCIS.

You, of all people, should not need to ask why.

I don't think most will agree on #4.

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

My backstory has intrinsic drama, because what occurred was dramatic. So, it might not be of interest you? If something boring happens I’ll let you know.

PS> If you’re willing to put up with the drama, and willing to invest 30 minutes of reading time? PM me.
