sorry but please do not say "MY Country" cause this country is not yours, read the history, you are just a dumb person and you do not know what history is.
you only have the right to defend the "Barn" you live in. sickmindedpig.

another thing, you need to know (if you really have a brain), there are many countries full of very educated and cultred people than you think, but I do not blame you cause you do not know how to spell anyword and your math knowledge does not exceed the numbers of bottles of wine you drink every day. typical dumb ignorant racist person.

Hi said,
I`m from Germany and I have almost the same problem.
My mother is a US Citizen, my Stepfather filed a I-130 (still pending) for me in June 2002.
They transfered my petition to another Service Center. My Stepfather called the USCIS every week for about 6 months. Now we got a answer!
You wouldn`t believe it. They told my stepfather: We don`t have your son`s Address!
My Stepfather start laughing, cause he have already send my address to them more than 3 times.
May your wife have to call the Service Center, to get Information about your case.

greetings from Germany

I submitted an I-130 to Vermont on July 5, 2006. It was FINALLY approved on 4/26/07. I am a US citizen.

Yes, Vermont has been stuck on 3/12/06 since November. I have been documenting their application date and post dates once a month since August 06.

I tried, so don't bother calling them to find out why they haven't moved off 3/12/06 while the California SC is now up to Oct 06. They say they can't give a reason why, and they won't make the effort to find out why. I guess you could ask your congressman/woman to look into it.

Good luck.

I guess that's for extreme cases, but are you from a country that is on our 'watch' list? Tell us more. There are plenty of people here on this forum willing to help. Just seems like you're not willing to share enough about yourself for people to help you?

Is it necessary to use the services of a lawyer? Or there are many applications that were approved even without the aid of legal assistants? Thanks

My Application Status:

My stepfather called the USCIS again in August 2007 again. They wrote a notice.
They said we doesn`t have your Birth-Certificate and your mother`s divorce papers.

I`m 100% sure, we had send this paperwork with the I130 to the USCIS. So I think they lost ours.

They send me an email:

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 27, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Still my stepfather doesn`t got a notice.

great! then u dont have to worry about finding the files u need to resubmit.. oh, and at least, by seeing "Current Status: Approval notice sent." u can have more confidence that the papers had been attended to. i think u should print that email and/or save a screenshot of the email so that u may have a concrete proof anytime..

I do not trust them, until the notice is received. We had to many problems with the USCIS.
