Even if everyone is doing it doesn't dilute it one bit. Perhaps pedophile wasn't the correct legal term but molester fits just as well.

I don't know about you but this isn't the times of the old testimate. We don't pay for the sins of our parents. I don't know of anyone who looks at a kid and thinks 'Geeze, your parents were low lifes so you are too.' Well, at least I don't.

Testimate? Slang? Urban lexicon? Yes, you do.

So, what makes you think that a local GOP dinner party is indicative of the GOP as a whole?

No Hudson, I do not, but after spending a considerable amount of time on the hill in the last year talking to the legislative aids of Republican Congress critters and Senators, I have come to the conclusion that the Republicans are more interested in their political hides than helping constituents who are in a living hell because they passed bad legislation in the past. THE GOP is to blame Comprehensive did not come to pass this last Senate session.

I agree the "System" doesn't work, and also that Enforcement is a bad idea as currently being carried out. I am not sure that I agree we have to fix everything at once in a Comprehensive package although I am not opposed to it, I do not believe it is a political possibility at this time.

Its like the Medical Oath..."first do no harm", there is a large number of families suffering from bad Immigration Legislation on the books. Many of these contain US Citizens. We need to aleviate that suffering, piece meal if necessary.

Iperson - why are you bashing Americans? We're not all bad, you know? I take a bit of offense when I see these kinds of posts because, after all, you are here living among us. I hope you will meet an American one day who will turn your opinion of us around - truly I do.

I don't look at it as bashing nor humor - it's participatory democracy, in action.

Normally in cartoons like these there is something given to connect the sarcasm to. I honestly don't get it. What do you expect. Its polish-American humor, I think.

Should have been old 'testament' Rough. Opps should be Oops, just thought I'd let you know. But where have I passed judgment based on a persons parents? Were you referring to the situation with the boy and being an illegal brought over as a child? I only commented that he is 18 now and responsible at this point.

My "Opps" means: Only-per-personal-standard. I don't know about yours. Got anything meatier than that? Plus point - your mother tongue is my second.

The first one was about being charged too much for cutting grass. That and being taxed to death.

The second for giving kids of illegals extra benefits beyond those that anyone else would receive.

The last was more of the same about benefits.

I'll take this to mean your saying I did in the situation where I said they should not get the benefits due to parental status. To fine tune the point. I didn't demonize them. I said they shouldn't benefit beyond anyone else for what their parents did. To say a person should be punished for their parents sins is far from saying they should not be bestowed gifts for those same sins.

In simple terms so even a Polock can understand. I don't support throwing someone into hell only because the parents are already there. At the same time I don't think a free pass to the promised land is deserved for the same thing.

Nice try. My mother's tongue is British, Dad's is I'm not sure. Either Austrian or Hungarian.

Oh, sorry, what I meant by "mother tongue" is "primary language" or a "native speaker" of a language. In this case it's English. English is my second language because my mother tongue is something else. I didn't mean in anyway literally your "mother." Please take my full and sincere respects for her.
