Hi all!

I'd like to know how long it will take to process the application after the AOS interview is done?

I had my AOS interview (based on relatives sponsorship) on April 14th, 2003., and till now I still don't hear or receive any notice from the BCIS.

Does anyone have this kind of situation?

Thanks.

San

I have a similar experience. I had my interview in April 24, 2003 at the Baltimore office and haven't heard anything yet.

Hi Pola_Star91,

Did they tell you anything right after the interview?

I had my interview at the Boston Office.

By the way, do you ever call them up?

San,
My case was slightly different. The INS agent requested additional tax documents. When I asked what was next after the interview, I was told my case was pending until the tax doc was received. I mailed the requested doc and had an acknowledgement letter dated 5/5/03. It was stated in the letter that it would take up to five months to process this and I shouldn't contact them unless I did not hear from them by 10/5/2003. So I have no choice but to wait till the notice date.

Actually your case was the same as mine. The INS agent also requested the additional tax documents for my co-sponsor. But I had to deliver it in person. When I delivered documents to them, the INS agents only told me that they will get in touch with me but I did not ask him how long it will take.

Next month, when I go to have my work authorization card renew I will find out.
