The main function of the USCIS is to keep foreigners out of the USA. They look for reasons to deny your application, that’s their job. In my case, when they could not find a reason, they made up a false reason. They did this because I irritated them. That was the bullet in my head, I should not have irritated them.
In your case you confessed something that they would never have found, without you telling them. That was the bullet in your head. That was your demise. Remember, anything you say can and will be used against you.
The bottom line for both you and I, is that our lives in America are over. Fair or not fair, we’re done. You got caught with drugs, I was only slightly sarcastic. My punishment is the same as yours. Think about that.

The name thing was more my own situation. If you saw my name only and didn't know me or see me you would never think I had European roots. But yeah, your right. Kids are adorable when they are little. Its when they grow up they turn into headaches, LOL.

All kids are cute MIR....and parents are usually the ones that say theirs are the cutest. That's normal...I don't want to come across like I have the prettiest kids or anything...but I am very proud of my children.

The article points out the removal of a January ruling that incompetent representation isn't grounds for appeal. The change affects cases heard between January 2009 and now.

The lawyer back then was nevertheless incompetant. He focused on everything except on that the Mandate I had gotten wasn't ruled a conviction according to US-laws. He stressed that "the conviction I had gotten could have never happened here (and it couldn't have), and applied for a waiver. INS denied arguing that he is expecting them to research the laws of other countries. The law provides relief for "convictions" that are entered in absentia. Had I known that then, everything would've been fine. Since this clause of the law did also exist back then. So he was incompetant by focusing on everything but the facts.
