It's hard to tell sometimes based on a photo. In one pose they look one way. The next, completely different. Partially depends on their apprehension to the camera flash too.

The main function of the USCIS is to keep foreigners out of the USA. They look for reasons to deny your application, that’s their job. In my case, when they could not find a reason, they made up a false reason. That was the bullet in my head, I should not have irritated them.

If you had ball.s big enough to commit a crime (or two) - don't be a chicken sh.t and face the consequences. It's a long story! ....but summa summarum it all boils down to a wrongful translation that was rendered almost 30 years ago.
I can't really blame USCIS - they only acted on what they had. I need to unravel all of this and clear my name. I had in mind to do this much earlier, but my American do no good husband didn't cooperate. I do have beef with the USCIS as far as that goes - that I had no or very limited means to come forward.
As I said it's a long story.

....but, I have just hired a German lawyer who is writing an expert legal opinion based on the facts surounding the case and stating that these citations are entered in absentia.

Just a thought. Some of the opinion should focus on the probability of an acquittal had you been able to defend yourself. Hearsay is still hearsay, even if a cop's ears.

Names mean nothing Davdah! But, that picture of my son, I have to say is 16 years old. It'a polaroid and really lost its colors over the years. However, I can guarantee that my son is the best looking kid.....!
