my friend's son is getting married to a girl whose case is pending under her parents for adjustment of status for long time. My friend's son is a US citizen. And he is ready to file for her as soon as they get married. The girl is a student and will be finishing her education where she lives. On the other hand, the boy is working in the other state and holds a nice job, but will be visiting the girl in the weekends. Do you think there will be problem in the interview. Both the kids like each other and both families are involved and all. And, the other question is where should they apply the paperwork, where the boy works or where the girl is studing and living. Pls. advise. thanks

Welcome Sunshine3
When the USC and his girlfriend fill out the forms, they will be sending them to Chicago Lockbox, I wouldn't think there would be any problems, as I am sure USCIS must understand that people do go to College, make sure they have evidence of their ongoing relationship, such as travel receipts, letters/emails to one another, and anything else they may have in joint names.
I am sure someone will be along soon, to correct me if I am wrong, or to give you more detailed information.

I am not racist. I am not anti-immigrant. I am AGAINST CRIMINALS, FRAUDSTERS, WHO DISOBEY THE LAW, BREAK THE LAW AND PERPETRATE THE FRAUD.
You may not like what I have to say but that does not mean I am wrong.
