According to ETA web site as well as several others,
- As of July 2004, Philadelphia processing center was processing March 2003 non-RIR cases and July 2003 RIR cases
- As of January 2005, Philadelphia processing center was still processing March 2003 non-RIR cases and July 2003 RIR cases.
The phone recorded message at Philadelphia processing center also has not been updated for the past 7 months, i.e. it still has July 2004 message.

Is the backlog really so big that there is apparent progress is for 7 months?

The phone number for checking case status also does not seem to work either. Is the processing center (or processing staff) still there?

If any one can provide some insight, I will very much appreciated.
