Keep all "news" articles to ONE thread by one poster.
Ex: "News Articles" by poster, Sam
This will free up board space and cause uniformity to alleviate confusion when a newcomer comes here to post a question.
The board lacks this structure, thus causing those who do not understand how the board works to...leave.

You will find that this forum is improving, so come on back and share your thoughts with us. I am quite new here myself, I came here to find some answers and find it to be really helpful. I'm sure the other members who know you before will be glad to see you back.

Susie's right. Think of how many people log onto this site and then check the number of questions/topics by members. There's not that many topics opened by them. Why? Because this board has an unfriendly appearance about it. Why would anybody want to ask a question and then get berated by somebody for the situation they happen to be in. And God forbid, if there's any type of illegality involved, they get jumped onto like vultures coming down for food. Somebody always has to be sarcastic telling them to get another husband or they don't belong here in the first place...who wants to ask a question????? You can go to a local bar and get berated by a drunk just as easily and won't have to be embarrassed and humiliated in front of the entire world. It takes a lot of nerve and courage for some of these people to open up and ask a question divulging their personal information and feelings even though this is in cyberspace. Just to get beat up on????? That's why people don't post topics - it's not worth the beating.

The Illegal Mexican Exploitation and Heads Up thread has been running for quite some time with the majority of the articles only posted under those threads and not cross-posted again in other threads. Others have jumped on the bandwagon and posted every article they find as a 'topic' and it gives this board an 'anti-immigrant' type of appearance. Very unfriendly to a new member. I do think the articles should be kept in one thread otherwise the topic board will look like an index for anti-immigrant newspaper articles. There's no reason for an OP to be duplicating articles into other threads; therefore, keeping them to one is better. Illegal this and illegal that and most are of negative content which doesn't help the looks of this board. Then again, this board can be used as a conduit to get one's personal views across without respect for the primary purpose of this board - to assist members.
