If I were you I would make an infopass appointment and speak with an officer to find out what is happening with your case. 2 years is to long!

Why do you people think contacting a congressman is going to help?? They don't listen to us, you think they are going to listen to you?

You can go to any office but you have to go online and make an appointment. Did you receive a notice of receipt??? Have your checks been cashed for the processing fee's?

Hello Taypan

2 years is NOT too long, only depending on what service center that you filed out of. You did not mention your service center that you filed your 751 from.

Only contact your congressman, if you are way outside of your processing time.

Look to the blue area on your left and choose processing time. find your service center. click on service center and locate 751 petitions. This will tell you the petitions that uscis is working on. See if you fall within that timeframe for when it was submitted.

As you were told already, make an infopass appointment to get stamp in passport, and check on your case.

there is no reason to feel nevous unless your case is well outside of the processing times for your service center.

Get your stamp and feel better Smile

As I suspected that you were in Nebraska. Smile

Currently working on applications filed July 2006. So you are a couple of months outside of the processing time. You may be coming up soon, Im sure the biometrics that were not done are what is holding things up right now. Make sure you mention biometrics were not done when you visit with infopass appt.
