Guys, i know it's hard but don't worry you all should hear something soon...just make sure your name is on your mail box.

Pakka, once you got an A# they are processing your case, it took almost two months from the day i submitted i paperworks to get an interview letter.

Herbit, hang in there buddy, you'll hear something soon. if you are sure that your lawyer mailed everything on the 21st of march, then i think chances are that you will hear from them in or around the next two weeks.

Hi Pakka
It's been around 3 1/2 weeks since my forms were sent off and I still haven't receive the receipt letter. Do you think I should call and ask them if they have received it? Should I be worried? Thanks

Herbit,
I would give them a little more time. I suspect if your papers were mailed on the 21st, I allow a week for actual receipt and checking. So give them about two more weeks and then call if you haven't heard anything.

Hey Guys
I FINALLY got a receipt letter in the mail, but it's at the National Benefit Center. I looked to see what dates they are processing and they don't have I-485 on their list. Any thoughts? Thanks

One of the student who's parents are USC, and I-130 has been approved, and visa number is available and they have mailed I-485,G-325-A, I-684, to Chicago.

Any thoughts on how long it will take for uscis to mail back the documents to the local Service center for processing.

I'm not sure how long it takes. I just got my appointment for fingerprints and from what I understand, my case is still at the National Benefits Center which is in Missouri and I live in Texas.

Hi Herbit,
I just got my appointment for an interview on May 22 at my district office. I think they process everything at the National Benefit Center in Missouri and then transfer you to the district office for the interview. Someone asked for the address:P.O Box 648004, Lee's Summit, Missouri 64064.

Hi Pakka,
I'm glad that you finally heard something! Good luck with your interview. Does the letter tell you what paperwork you need to bring with you? If so, can you tell me. Thanks

So herbit, you on your way. Now i think after you get your prints taken...within a month you'll get an interview schedule for your case. Wishing you a quick and easy journey.

Herbit,
It seems like they are asking for everything I sent in with my application: EAD, passport, birth certificate, petitioner's birth certificate and evidence of citizenship, evidence of my eligibility for LPR status, Forms I-864 and I-693(already sent in).

Pakka,
The evidence of eligibility I'm assuming is the I-130? I didn't apply for an EAD so I guess that wouldnt apply to me.
Thanks for your kind thoughts Malaki! I really appreciate it.

hi herbit... my case is also at the National Benefits Center... I live in Florida.. I think it was sent to Chicago and then forwarded to MSC as well. My husband went for his biometrics(fingerprint) appt. on March 17, haven't heard anything since then! Hopefully I will soon!

Thanks for sharing your story! I wish you all the luck with your case! I'm glad that I'm not the only one with the same situation. I also sent my packet to chicago and somehow it made its way to MO. Keep me posted if you hear something

Hi friends,

Good to see you all here. It’s a very good website to share our problems to each other. I’m very happy to find this website.

Friends, here is my problem. I came here as a student, I used to have a chat friend in this country, since 2 years before I came here. I had a summer vacation while I was going to college here, then I went to see her, we liked each other and got married. I got my conditional PR after that. Since the town where we lived is a country side, and there are no job opportunities, we had a hard time living there. Then, my wife asked me to move to a bigger city and make better money to run the house. My wife and I talked about it and then I found a better paying temporary job, in a bigger city and I moved there. Since my wife has a back pain problem, she can’t work hard so I’m working in a big city and making money to run the house. Couples of times, I asked my wife to move with me where I’m staying right now, but she rejects because she doesn’t want to be away from her parents, brothers and sisters + her kids (from her X-husband). Right now we’re not staying together because of the job differences, but I visit home in holidays and we meet each other.

I applied to remove the conditions on my PR but it is already been 6 months since I received NOA. I didn’t receive any finger print notice or any interview noticed after that. Friends, please tell me if I am going to have a problem with the immigration because my wife and I are not staying together because of the job differences. I told my wife that I want to come home and look for a job around there but she doesn’t want me to be there. She says, she doesn’t like me to stay with her over there. So I’m in this harsh situation right now. One hand, I don’t like to stay away from my wife and the other hand, there are no jobs where she is staying right now. Also my wife says, she doesn’t want to move here with me. Actually I love her and don’t want to divorce her although she doesn’t respect my feelings and doesn’t response my phone calls some times. Your advice would be appreciated!
