Dear Ms. Dyer:
On May 14, 2008, I came across a website that is owned and operated by the American Immigration LLC, a law firm located at 149 Madison Avenue and doing business as ILW.com. In response to a discussion board entitled “What a surprise...an immigration attorney committing fraudâ€, I uploaded the account of having been victimized by my husband, Ehigie E. Uzamere, now a Nigerian senator and millionaire in Nigeria who has subjected me and our daughter to 28 years of economic violence. Included in the post is the website
http://www.thecrimesofsenatoruzamere.com that details the crimes that Senator Uzamere committed against me and our daughter, including economic violence for the entire marriage after he married me for a green card and left me pregnant and with penniless.
The barrage of negative e-mail that I received within a relatively short time after I uploaded my post leads me to believe that some, if not all the posters on this board are Nigerians who upload defamatory posts while withholding their identities, with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten and harass me. According to the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005, this is a felony.
I have tried to place them in my “iggy bin†but even when I do so, a new identity will post comments impugning my character and the veracity of my statements while hiding behind their cybermasks. Additionally, ignoring them does not prevent them from making false statement about me on the discussion board.
Thus far, I have been victimized by the following individuals: 4now, Aroha, bentonasia, Brit4064, davdah, FianceeofMichael, Hudson, iperson, Jake01 and JermCool, but the list keeps growing.
According to “ipersonâ€, chasing people off the discussion board by annoying them has happened in the past. He/she said: “I will tell a little secret of this board. There has been a poster called Beverly who was also a black woman who posted here a lot, spamming the board with tons of anti-immigrant articles, and the posters took a lot of pleasure at ridiculing her. Among other things, they used photos of chickens like the ones above. I think they are just reminiscing the good times they've had not so long ago, and I believe they miss Beverly a lot. So if you want to be an extension of that kind of situation, be my guest.â€
That such impropriety takes place on any discussion board would be seen by the USDOJ as illegal. That said impropriety takes place on discussion boards that are owned by a law firm is far worse.

I respectfully ask that your agency gather the names of posters of all discussion boards, as well as all the posts that were uploaded to the boards to determine if there is a greater pattern of cyberbullying by this group of individuals than ILW.com allowed its new posters to know.
These bullies need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and the law firm needs to be reminded that attorneys must not be involved in activities that given even the slightest appearance of impropriety.
