Even at that load the 243 is still clocking around 2000 fps at 500 yards. Wouldn't get down to the 1000 fps range until round about 1000 yards. Probably be easier to just walk up and chuck a grenade in the burrow.

the 9 mm, Standard Universal load With Better accuracy than .45. Yet I think .40 cal. would have been better. the 357 sig. awsome! Not Conventional or readily Available, Or Particularily Last Resort to have. I still Prefer .45!!! and a good Ole .308 With Multiple grain choices! . A Good Ole sterlingworth 12 double barrel as backup! LOL.
