The Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law is responsible for the Late Amnesty/LIFE/CSS/LULAC, I was wondering if any class members got any tangible help from the Center, After calling the center too many times I was able to talk to live person at their end, he told me the INS policy to deny Life Legalization application because the applicants came back with a visa after a short trip aboard is wrong and the applicant should be approved." End of quote". Thousands of late amnesty (LIFE ACT) got denied letter from INS for their Life Legalization application and I don't see the center doing any thing to help class member. The center got over four millions Dollars in the late amnesty settlement from the government and I don't see any help to the class member.
I'm living in Los Vegas, Nevada area and I know a lot of class member got denied letter from INS and there is nobody to talk to at the center for help, I send them e-mail but still no help. I'm wondering if anybody got any help from the center for their CSS/LULAC/LIFE cases?

I have read that CHRL has helped one person from Louisiana. He posted that here few months ago.I personally have never got any help from CHRL. I made too many calls to count and send them a letter with Self addressed stamped envelopes but all of them remained fruitless.

The center has achieved it's goal which was to give LULAC/CSS classmembers the right to apply for residency either through the LIFE ACt or the LULAC/CSS settlement lawsuit. Those lawsuits were always about the RIGHT to apply. The applicant still has to meet the conditions having lived here since 1/1/1982.

I have contacted several lawyers trained by by CHRCL but have but have not heard any ecouraging news from any one of them. MY feeling is despite of CSS/LULAC settlement INS is not wiliing to approve any of these cases.Any one knows any thing different please let all us know.
Thanks

MY case is under LULAC since I came back with visa. Seems like it really does not make any difference any way. Every one is one same mess. Very few people got approved. I do not know how??? I have not been able to get in touch with any attorney who has a silver bullet.
