For net curtains you are talking about yeah Aroha?
I couldn't find any too. Not sure where to get them from, unless speciality stores do them. I always got a 'what' when I asked.

I ended up with venetian blinds too (they were already here), and sun has discolored one side of it already. grrr

This time in one week, I'll be snoring on the plane. Either that or I'll be wide awake wondering how my husband looks in the 20 months since I've seen him. I hope he didn't get all fat and icky. Eek

P.S. If any of you know where to buy curtain wire, it'd be appreciated. I don't really want to have to lug it with me, but I refuse to have venetian blinds on every window. LOL.

Nets ... kinda like sheer curtains. Great for privacy. You can see out, but they can't see in.

I've been calling them nets for 36 years. I'll be calling them nets for another 36. LOL.

I'll also be popping my bonnet for the mechanic and putting my spare tyre in the boot, then I'll be heading to the pub for a jug, which I'll undoubtedly pay for by cheque. winkiss

LMAO!! You crack me up! I don't see nets over here, either I see people with curtains, no nets, or blinds, or nothing.

I miss my nets I must admit, alot easier to clean then blinds.

I would suggest to bring some wire Aroha, just in case. Doesn't take up much room.

I'll have a list for you too Big Grin Wink lol

I was going to bring the nets with me as well, Sprintie, but we decided that it'd be too much of a hassle with not only transport, but also the fact that if they get torn or tatty, they'd be tough to replace.

We're actually looking at using voile panels instead. Same basic effect I think, much prettier than blinds and like you said, easier to clean! Smile

Better get that list in quick, girl. LOL.

And Sprintie, I'm glad you approve! LOL. Smile

@Aroha: I'm sorry, I still don't know what kind of net curtains you're looking for...maybe, I've never seen one of those in my whole entire life....venetian blinds are more familiar to me....o.O But I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for once you settled here...we have bunch of stuff! Smile Good luck packing! Smile
