Just an opinion, but in any area where there would be significant difference in rights and entitlement between being wife and not there could be elements of fraud provided you can prove a gain was received.
Property is a mixed bag. Technically two single people can own property and hold title as tenants in common. However, the difference is each would be entitled to their pro-rata share based on their contribution. Also all parties are equal in their knowledge of each other's position. In husband wife circumstances it's usually equal regardless the financial contribution. Looking at it from that perspective and assuming she contributed far less than you did, it's fraud.
If the wife is not actually a wife then the fair thing to do would be to have all contributions measured and used as a basis to determine who owns what share of it. I would go a step further and ask the fair market rent be factored in as well. If she contributed nothing she should not be allowed to have lived free for all that time. I would include life's essentials and anything else where money was used in such a manner as would be with a wife.
I would sue for pain and suffering. That would include anyone else who was directly involved, even USCIS. Since they established the rules for immigration and supposedly conducted investigations they assume some amount of liability by asserting her suitability and standing. They certified her as being single and eligible for adjustment of status. Because of their carelessness a person suffered irreparable harm.
