I disagree with being passive. Under no circumstances should anyone give up and move on. Justice can be served provided a person pursues it. Almost taking the stance of 'moving on' it became clear that it would haunt a person forever I decided to turn and fight. The outcome is the same regardless it be a scamming immigrant, employee, spouse, or anyone who does you wrong. If you let them take you down you will never rise to your prior level.
