My grandparents were immigrant, what I am frustrated about it even before they come here they are questioning their rights. Would you like entire USA to be affected by TB? I would think NO.

I'm starting to accept the fact there is not much to do when it comes to marriage fraud. I married someone from Turkmenistan three years ago. He got his provisional GC three months after applying for it. A year and half into our marriage his treatment towards me started to change. We ended up arguing a lot and I asked him if he wanted to split up because a life like that was not a healthy one. He told me that he could accuse me of spousal abuse if I tried to prevent him from getting his GC. That was not even my intention... after all I loved the guy. He later said he wanted to work it out and I gave it another go, but things didn't change much. In fact they got worse. He became distant, rude, cold among other things. He got his permanent GC this year back in April. By July I was so miserable I asked him what was going on with him and he told me that he thought he was homosexual... I was completely baffled... and devastated. We went to therapy and they suggested we split up for a while which he quickly agreed to. It is now November and we were supposed to have been figuring things out but now he has told me that we have to split up because we make too much money together and he can't qualify for full financial aid being with me. This whole time I was giving him the benefit of the doubt because I love him and cared for him, and I realize that I have a lot to blame on myself for my predicament. All this time he was buying his time so he wouldn't be left out on the street. He now has a GC, nice car, a place to live, can go to school, and will be getting free money from the gov't to do so... all at my expense. He has told me that he will not pay for the divorce lawyer which is all that I wanted from him at this point. I feel stuck. The sad thing is that all his friends have done this... I know of four of them personally... in the process of getting a GC and there's nothing to be done. One of them even married someone here in California last year and she just recently married a guy (the real person she loves) in Turkmenistan this past October. I wish the laws could be changed in which the U.S. citizen could be somewhat protected.

I am also not against immigration. I am against marriage fraud. There is a difference. I hope to join the groups that will march on Washington. I will need someone to contact me with information. My immigrant wife came, and we were good until I signed, and sent the papers for her parents to visit. That was 7 years ago, and they are still here. The next day she walked past me and said she had to get me arrested. She did so by attacking my daughters-(Ages 5 and 6 from a previous marriage), forcing me to protect them. The local police usually arrest the man to separate the two. She continued her attacks to put me in the financial and legal trick bag. The ultimatum they gave me was to abandon my daughters, support her parents for the rest of their lives, or leave with nothing. She knew that Illinois courts and INS will do nothing against a mother in these cases. They destroyed my credit, my business, my income base, etc., with malice and intent. I also found out that she was paying a group to guide her through this process. I have learned the DHS/INS/ICS, the US Embassy, and the department of Interior Security all know about this and are doing nothing about. Yes, I will help "HelpVictim" in anyway I can.
