Seriously. It seems Illegal Immigrants get away with anything. I am Canadian, married to an American and am stuck in Canada until my Visa is approved. My I-130 was approved in the US. I have no Criminal record, my husband supports me because I can't legally work yet, at least I could spend Christmas with him. Before I got married I was allowed to spend 6 months at a time legally in the US, now a piece of paper won't allow me to cross the border legally? What is that? I am so frustrated.

Even this post has no responses yet? Wow. All the other questions I have asked, things I really want to know about haven't got any responses. Am I ivisible here? Smile

There's a big difference between you and millions of other people.

You HAVE a path towards legal residency. Other DON'T have nothing at all, except the will to provide for their families.

It would be foolish of you to risk what you already have going.

You have to be patient to get this immigration business right the first time. Pls do not be frustrated, there are many people out there who have been waiting for several years after application, approval and interviews before green card is issued to them. At least you have a path to permanent residency and you are an immediate relative. You are closer to the GC than many others, especially families who have been separated bcos of the backlog. Just take it one day at a time. Good luck.

Why does he not go to Canada? He could move there. Life is better there - maybe colder but one can buy a parka. Canada is a great country - you have no idea until you leave. Everything here is classed as a dream - including medical care and owning a home. Everything is a rip off and there is no equality for all. They talk a good story but in the end - the life you believe you will have in America died years ago.

Illegals do have it better - they don't have to shell out masses of money just to be treated like dirt. America treats all immigrants the same - legal or not.

WOW! what a bitter response, especially when you consider that you are a green card holder.

Makes you wonder why the U.S. treats immigrants like ingrates who feel entitled to everything.

I understand your anger, and you are totally right.Everyone who came to the USA legally had to pay a bunch amount money, fee's,fill out forms, wait wait wait....etc etc.

Someone who comes here Illegally,is currently giving a by-pass and is being treated better. And are getting a by pass, meaning they will obtain a work visa for couple years, which will allow them afterwards to gain total residency and ultimtly citizenship.

Therefore its a slap in the face to those who came here legally and went everysingle step by the law and watching As*holes coming here illegally and being treated better and givin amnesty.

Therefore anyone who supports Illegal immigrants who came here illegal, broke the law,and are total criminals should be sent home and the ones who supports them along with them.

I am furious with the govt. not cracking down on the illegals. It's all about money and big business NOT the will of the people. Big business wants the cheap labor, and both parties see wins if they legalize them.

I am a 5th generation citizen with anscestors who fought in every war for this country. I also have Native American ancestry in both family trees. I can't answer your immigration questions but do sincerely appreciate your "legal" steps towards becoming a citizen.

Thank You.

The land of the free and the brave - but if we don't like what you say or you come too close to the truth, the answer is to boot you out. One only has the right to free speech - if it is what others want to hear. A different viewpoint is not acceptable.(Hmmm - shades of the old Soviet Union?) Anyone with a rational thought process who has viewed/read the news will know that the America that was, is no longer. The perversion/corruption running through the government is America now and is a reflection of the society which granted them the right to rule. It can be changed, but not if we hide our heads in the sand - If you have travelled and had a world view - you would understand my comment.

Dragonlady,

It seems to me that once elected so many in congress/Senate forget who sent them there. Something happens to them in Washington. They are bought by lobbyists or strong-armed by extremist factions of their own party. They are NOT representing the people they left back home.
