hi, as u told me, immi said taht u will get ur green card. than u must get it, some immi offices donot stamp the passport but some do. my case is in las vegas. i think u should make infopass appointment and just ask them about EAD. 1-800 number never works, i called them 100 times and didnt get any answer.dont worry u will get it very soon.

From I what I have read elsewhere, you can get approved but the delay in sending the card will be because they are waiting on biometrics or FBI check. You may want to follow up on that and see it they sent it back. Good luck!

thanks for sharing your experience.

they ask for some documents which were not presented on our first interview.so if i were u, gather all the necessary documents and make sure you have that on your next interview.sometimes the officer was not satisfied on the first interview and will ask for a second one.

HI, immi officer asked me for all joint documents and she took recent 3 months bank statements, life insurance policies, reciepts of all the stuff we purchase, home lease. and in the first interview they just asked general qu like how we met and got married. but in this interview tons of qu like very deeply. she was asking abt everything when i came here why and why didnt go back, why we didnt deposit pay check in acct, why i have seprate acct and she asked frm my wife how can she got married after 4 weaks dating bla bla bla. but we answered very sincierly and for so many qu i said i dont know. that s it. she took 45 minutes and good news i got my card yesterday after 2 weaks of interview.

first of all, everyone should know and remember. Each interview is different, cases and marriages are different and viewed differenlty.
I had only 1 Interview. When I went to my marriage interview, together with my wife,it took less than 5 minutes..and all the interviewer (officer) did was look through are pics and did not even touch our other documents we brought along, like insurance, credit cards and what not. All she asked was, when we first met and when we got married... ususally u can tell easily if the marriage is real or not. Pics speak more than thousands words...in our case we dated for 3 years before getting married, and by the time we had the interview we were married 6 months so we had tonz pics, family and vacation etc etcbefore and after marriage. So it was not hard to find out and realize, our love relationship, marriage was real - duh.
Anyway, I got a stamp back then in my passport as well, because she told me (the officer) that it would take up to 1 year for the green card to arrieve, therefore the stamp in my passport was like a greencard, which allowed me to travel etc etc....but i got the green card like 5 months after in the mail.
U can request to have a stamp put in your passport though,if you know u have to travel outside the US u know...u just need to ask.
