But the First Amendment rights don't apply in any private site, properties, or premises. Exercise that improperly in my own yard and the first amendment you'll get from me is the normal alignment of your jaws with a baseball bat.

But explain that RN. Why did you use those words: nothing malicious (just for fun). What did you mean by that?

Why do you need to have two ids on the same site? It's like you're hiding something. People have taking this whole cyberspace thing too far.

i asked because it would never enter my or anyone else's mind to hold a malicious intent of having a multiple id

it entered Yours.. hmm

you can bash immigrants, put people down, etc. etc. under one id quite well, so what could a multiple id be used for maliciously, can you explain?

Oh well, Fbee, just a friendly advice to you then. Try to find out the exact meaning of the words 'malice' and 'fun.'

you are usually smarter RN, than give such answers
so tell me, what is the advantage of having multiple ids to having one id?
and while trying to answer that, also explain why did you even try to register two ids at im2us at all?

I reserve the right to refuse to answer that because that question to me is off-tangent and beside the point. I did that sans malice (just for fun) just to prove to find out if that site is fool-proof to multiple IDs. I found out it's not, but I stopped there after trying and succeeding. You said one would be banned because of that. I said nope. Then you ask me now what's the advantage.. To me, that's an irrelevant question.

And the relevance is... Now my answers are evasive, why? Is it because I proved that your statement was wrong about banning?

No, Freebee, but I don't make any sweeping statement about any site until I'm absolutely sure about it. Unlike others..

don't turn the cat around RN, i didn't make any sweeping statements- the admin at i2us posted a message that when discovered someone is using double ids, they will be removed
so my statement was not wrong

now going back to your telling post, you seem to be checking sites if they foolproof or not while nobody else does that
you mentioned the word: malicious intent, and made sure to let us know this was not so, and you left the site - why try to assure me of that?
i would not wonder if your intentions were malicious- it would simply not enter my mind, and i would not wonder if you stayed at i2us using double id or not..

Your agitation is misplaced. I'm not even sure where you're going with this. The only point I was making is it's up to the owner, within legal bounds, which excludes baseball bats (LOL) , to decide what is permissible and what isn't. If you set up a site and only allow people from your home country to participate that would be your right to do so. Just the same as the owners of ILW have allowed the breath and scope of conversations to include threats of hitting people with baseball bats. Try saying that on immigrate to us and see how fast your post vanishes, regardless which ID is used, LOL.

Dave, the baseball bat figurative speech needs not be misused and abused, but the fact remains (and I stand by it) that the First Amendment right of expression that you raised up doesn't apply in a private site because the terms of use designed by the owners reign far supreme thereat.

Anyway, the main issue for me here is the absence of moderation on ilw and the presence on immigrate2us. That's all there is to it. But then again, as I already said before, many of us toyed with the idea of not participating on this forum ever time and time again, but that it's easier to leave ilw than for ilw to leave us alone.

Well, you cannot bash immigrants and ask help for your undocumented spouse at the same time either on i2us. It's implied in their terms of use that they don't allow bigotry and hypocrisy in one poster at the same time. Tee-he-he!

'nite and thanks!
