i have received notice of action form depeartment of state visa center(nvc) 37 roshester avenue portmouth mh 03801-2909.
i want know how ould i find status of my file pending in us immigration. i have receipt number as details of document.
furthuer my case type is of I130 immigrant petition for relative....

You can check online at the USCIS website, however they don't keep track so well once the file has gone to the NVC.

The NVC has an automated phone system you can use. It's (603) 334-0700.

You will need your receipt number for both.
