In America, women are encouraged to lie and make false rape allegations. Often this is used in conjunction with fabricating an "abuse" claim to obtain immigration benefits. Over half of all rape allegations are recanted after conviction. The vast majority of rape convictions are discovered unfounded many years after the fact after the falsly accused has spent his life in jail. In UK, there is an attempt to stop this. In the United States, there is no punishment for making false rape claims and is, on the contrary, encouraged.

Rejecting a sentence challenge by a woman jailed for two years after making a false allegation against an innocent man, two senior judges emphasised the impact of such a crime on conviction rates. Mr Justice Henriques, sitting in London with Mrs Justice Rafferty, said: 'Every time a defendant stands trial for rape, defence counsel necessarily point out to the jury that false allegations are made. I have provided the proof and statistics on previous posts. Then there is the daily barrage of fake rape stories that get people outraged and innocent men are sent to jail and then only later it is found out to be a false allegation: Tawana Brawley, Duke University, Hofstra University, etc..., etc..., etc...
