I think what they have is ALOT because the lawyer said when he was sending the evidence with the I-130 he said he haven't seen anyone in a long while with so much evidence so i guess that should work but you NEVER know with USCIS.

Hi Caribbeanman

I think we have the same issue, My wife(USC) file i-130 in November 9 2006 to VSC and they transfer my case to the local office in April 27 2007. I haven't heard from them till now, i make infopass ap. but when i go there they said "it is on the shelf waiting to be scheduled for an interview since September 27 2007" i really don't know what's going on.

I am in removal proceeding before the marriage
.

No details are necessary as none of that information is relevant as to why he was in removal proceedings, or how he entered, or any details. He has come out of removal proceedings and is awaiting interview of petiton for immediate relative.

the case is in the que to be scheduled for interview at local office. they will contact him.

Patience is in order.

after approval of i130 he will return to court and.. the IJ will adjust his status for greencard.

Good luck.. be patient. Smile

Hey nico

Well i made an infopass on the 14th of this month and they told me that my "A" file is not at the local office but they requested it and it was "in transit"...they also told me that they cannot schedule an interview without having the "A" file which should be there at anytime so am just waiting for the letter....maybe that's the same thing with you....which local office got your case?

yep,,well u have to take advantage of the time nico,,and while ur waiting for ur interview,,try to get as much as evidence as u can,,,evidence showing both ur name and ur name,,on a lease, joint bank account,,print out of bank statment,,try to rent a hotel room once in a while and get a reciept,,anything can be helpfull at ur interview,,bcoz the i-130 cann't be approved if the marriage took place while the beneficiary was in removal proceeding on or after 1986.....unless if u show a very strong evidence showing a bona fide marriage,,,so this is ur chance to prove ur case,,while ur waiting u should be getting more documents,,anything,,letters ,,lease,,joint medical insurence,,joint anything,,do ur best and u will be ok

Your "A" file is your alien file that's got all the info on you relating to immigration like court dates, petitions anything that has to do with you immigration wise it's in that file and it takes from 2 weeks to a month to transfer.

Whether a drivers license is needed to add name to car title is up to the state governing laws. Many states require the owner to be state licensed in order to be on the title if the car is registered to drive on the road.

Mike i think in FL they do require you to have one but as 4now said maybe in other states they don't.
