So you're not married. You didn't get married in Mexico, she left you and went back to the US, is that right?
And now you don't know what's gonna happen next.
See I read you like open cards. You meander, stumble, mumble, and I know exactly what took place even with your lies.
So your i-751 was invalid when you got divorced but you thought it was still valid. Or you thought something was wrong and you might get stopped on the border, so you decided to pose as American by showing the driver's licence. And you thought you'd get through easy with a bunch of friends to cover for you.

Your mistake was leaving the country while out of status.

So here, you see who is stupid now.

Hi Mike,
I'd like to help, but I agree, the case you presented is kind of confusing. I suggest you repost and give very specific information. Dates, place you were married, dates, place you are now, etc. I'd love to help, but it's hard to understand. Don't respond to bigots, ignore them and they will go away, or at least we hope huh?? lol Take care!

mike_2007, you were the one who came on this forum for help. First, you shouldn't post your story in one paragraph because it's very hard to read. Second, why are you using IM language here? This is a discussion board, not text messaging or instant messenger. No one can understand what you are trying to say. Instead of spewing insults and expletives, you should be grateful that people are at least reading your pathetic story and are trying to help. Maybe you weren't deported to Mexico like I originally thought, but it sounds like staying down there for awhile might do you a world of good. Maybe you'll have a little more respect for the US if you are ever able to come back.

Your story Mike is full of lies.
Initially you said you were going to Mexico to announce your future marriage to the bride's parents and you got stopped on the border on the way back. Then you say you got married in the detention center while kept on the border.
And now you say you got married before leaving the US.
C.R.A.P!

Mike, you are a liar and a fraud.

While I support illegal immigrants who are here in the country now and who sneaked in to escape extreme poverty and want to put food on the table for their family, but are hard working honest people otherwise. I don't support people like you who received the privilage of legal residency, and then they don't appreciate it by ignoring the immigration laws. And those who lie to immigration officers and who want to obtain benefits by fraud.

To support the immigration reform and support illegal aliens to receive a break, does not equal to supporting breaking the laws. One does not exclude the other, and I am not sorry I've been tough on this individual.
If you are an immigrant or an intending immigrant, respect the laws of this country. Whoever doesn't and who's trying to defraud, cheat and lie, does not deserve to be here.

I suggest you Mike leave Mexico and go back to Jordan. That's your best option, if I am to give you any advice.

Quite an interesting story, if badly presented.

First your wife need to employ a good lawyer, here is one:

http://www.visacentral.net/

For those pained by OP's posts, here is the story.

Entered US as a CR1 based on marriage.

Filies to remove conditions, whilst this is being adjudicated divorces USC spouse. Should have filed as an individual but did not.

Goes to Mexico to visit new fiancee's parents.

Jordanians need visa's to enter Mexico, sounds like he did not get one and relied on being a US PR, which of course he no longer was.

US Immigration detain him when he sought re-entry, various hearings in front of an Immigration Judge. He had no basis for entering the US, no Visa, no PR staus, so he was refused admission and returned to Mexico.

He is now in Mexico illegally.

New wife has filed for him, some debate as to when they got married, does not really matter.

Usually you have to be a Citizen or a Resident of a Country for a Consulate to deal with you.

My best guess is that they will send the file to Jordan and OP will need to return to Jordan for interview. Not clear as to whether he will also need a waiver for the refused entry, probably best to be ready.

I do not know for certain whether or not CDJ will process the application. Something to check on.

I do know that as well as the year or so for a K3 to work its way through the system you will be put into AP/AR. and that could easily double the time.

Basically security review, especially for male, muslim amd middle east.

Plenty of posts on his board. Some take a few months, some take many years.

i dont think so,,i think they did this when i was in detention allready,,thats what the lawyer has told me,,,they might just run the security name clearence or background check,,and thats takes 2 to 3 weeks only ,,,bcoz i was in the u.s and has a ss# so that will make's it easier for them ,,,but still ,,u never know ,,what is faster for processing at the embassy and the national visa center to process,,k-3 or cr-1? and how long it take's the national visa center to process and send it to the embassy from the day they recieve the approval notice? well...my i-130 and the i-129f been pending for 6 months allready and nothing happen yet? and i dont know on the uscis web page it's showing that my i-129f was updated on feb?amonth after i got the first noa? but its still showing the same thing? case reseived and pending?what does that mean when they change the date?when it say's update?

How long it takes varies depending which office you filed at.

CDJ is I believe taking about 12 months to interview K3. CR1 would be longer.

I doubt that the security checks would be speeded by your presence in the US. Having a SSN is pretty meaningless.

But ask a lawyer, I gave you a link to a good one that deals with Mexico and complicated cases.

I have never heard of a Male Arab going through Mexico, I doubt if there are many precedents.

hmmmm,12 months from the day i filed the forms? or from the day they get proved and sent to the national visa center?lol,,i never heared of jordanian was sent ther either,,,but what it is ,,i was allowed to withdraw my application for addmition,,and bcoz i was in mexico at the very last moment ,,and my wife is mexican,,thats why they dropp me off over there,,they didnt send me to mexico,,they jjust took me back to where i entered from,,,and yea,,i called a lawyer today ,,but a mexican immigration,,not a u.s immigration law attorney,,and he said based on the marriage to a mexican citizen ,,he will be able ,,to get me a permenant resident in mexico ,,so thats a good news,,bcoz the law say's in order to process in another country u have to be either citizen of that country or a pr,,so maybe this will help,,,and here is the link about processing in another country,,http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/wwwhnivthird.html thnx alot

Just looked,

CR1 is about 12 months

K3 seems about 6 months

Both from when they get to CDJ

AP/AR - anybodys guess.

No idea about Mexican Immigration, seems strange that they let you in at all.

I take it that your new wife has dual citizenship.
