Hi, I am in dilemma. After receiving packet 3 i had sent DS230 and affidavit(I864)+ MY FEES. DS230 i had send for Me,kids n wife. After waiting 5 months they had send the letter asking kids birth cert. After birth cert they had asked for fees.After fees they again send me Letter for DS230 and I864 name of my kids was there.My question is do i need to resend ds230 and i864 again.Since i already mailed 5 mnth back.Does previous 230 form or affidavit of support doesn,t exist any more since its only 5 months n they already received fees.Very complicated any GENIUS please help me what should i do.Waiting for some reply.

The DS230's and similar paperwork need to be sent in for everyone you're applying for and each one has it's own fee which needs to be paid. You should only be required to pay for and supply one Affidavit of Support however.

You will all be processed together and have your interviews together, but the way that the NVC works sometimes, the paperwork doesn't always arrive together. If extra evidence is required for one but not the others, they will hold that one back and continue processing the rest.

This happened in our case. My file got held up for 2 months, but my sons came through immediately. You can wait until you have all the fee requestes and forms together before sending them back in (provided the time between doesn't exceed 2-3 months).

You can call the NVC at any time to check the status (automated service) or to ask questions, provided you have your case number. They will accept either the number on your approved I-130's or the numbers they assigned. The phone number is (603) 334-0700.

Thanks AROHA, Yes i did call today they said my file has already gone for review including my kids.They said only 3 person(me n 2 baby) are under travelling list but not my wife.Bit surprising.They said since it has gone for final reveiw we can,t say anything.I have to wait. Looks like they accepted my kids ds230 thats why they sent the file for Review. I have to wait for approval for consular service. I guess so.
