I arrived in the U.S on the 16th of july 2007 via one
of the international airports. The immigration officer
noticed from my passport that i stayed in the U.S in
2004 for a period of seven months when all i had was a
B2 visa. i explained to her that i applied to i.n.s
for extension of my stay and that the extension was
approved and that besides i had travelled to the u.s
in 2005.

She then passed my passport to another immigration
officer who interrogated me at length and checked
their records to see if my application for extension
of my stay in the u.s was actually approved by the
i.n.s.

After about 45 minutes of checking he gave me back my
passport and said "you are free to go. you can only
remain in this country till the end of august and no
more extensions."

I checked my 1-94 and my passport and i discovered
that he had written on both the words: No AOS, No COS,
No EOS.

My question now is what are my chances of getting
another B2 visa or any kind of visa for that matter
with those kind of annotations on my passport from the
American embassy in my country of residence?

Also is there any way i can change my status in the
U.S with those kind of annotations on my passport and
is there any medium for appealing the immigration
officer`s decision?

hi sandra,,,iam not suprise bcoz ur missing with the most jurks idiots in the country ,,they have a little bit of power and they just wanna miss with ppl,,,i dont think that u can appeal on hes decision bcoz u will be missing with the wrong ppl,,but iam not sure also,,,u might be able too,,but not on ur own,,hire an attorney,,a good 1 ,,,iam not suprise bcoz they scratsh my passport with a big (x)and wrote biggggg cancel on my i-751 when it was still pending,,,the'r jurks,,,i dont have an answer for ur question bcoz iam not sure,,but u better call a good immigration attorney and ask him that,,and i have avery good 1 for u ,,,,and there is some sick ppl in here that might insult u,,just ignore them,,(someone12)and (sonofmichael),,ignore thies two idiots,,and good luck

NO Adjustment, Change, Extension of Status are reffering to this trip and would (should) not affect future issuance of any kind of visa - as long as you play by the terms given.
IO suspected that you had an intent other than just visiting, and warned you against misusing tourist visa to enter the USA in order to stay.

Since it is a warning and recommendation, you can't appeal.

Are you thinking about changing the status after the explicit no COS? Think twice... I am not saying it can't be done, but you would have to have realy good arguments (something extreme has happened since you entered the USA that prevents you to go back).

Nobody can answer such question, other than telling you that:

1. As long as you don't violate the terms of your visa/INA you will remain eligible to apply for a visa in future.

2. Issuance of visa is discretionary.
What impact those stamps will have? That will be determined when you apply for a visa in future.

If you can and are willing to pay very large amount of money and retain a team of three to five highly qualified immigration attorneys ready to take it all the way to Federal Appeals Court, then try and see what happens (prospects are not good anyway, it doesn't appear that POE Officers abused their power in any way or did anything contrary to what allowed under the law).

Simplest and wisest course of action: confirm to terms of your visa/annotations stamped and life will be so much easier for you.

of course, that illiterate a$$wipe mike-2007 must be the expert on all immigration matters....if so, why isn't he the head of the Dept of Homeland Security? Because they don't need another stable cleaner. Jagoffs like him who claim that our border officials are '****s' don't understand our laws - they forget (assuming he could ever have remembered) that entering the US is a privilege for those from other countries, I 751 or not.
Obviously you have been using your tourist visa for purposes other than tourism and you are about to lose the visa....good...that's what happens to visa cheats.
