Hi all
Question for everyone. I received U.S. citizenship certificate for about one year. Yesterday, i just found out an error on the certificate. I am a girl, but on the certificate they wrote down male by mistake. How can i fix it? Do i need to write a leter to request the Immigration officer to correct it or is there any application for me to fill out?
Need your suggestions

You file an N-565 and check the box that says "my certificate or declaration is incorrect".

No fee is required because it is a clerical error.

Naturalization Certificate
To correct a Naturalization Certificate, IF a clerical error was made, file a Form N-565 without fee at the USCIS office with jurisdiction over your residence. IF the error was your fault, the fee must be paid.

File a form N-565 no fee as suggested by sphyrapicus:

If this form N-565 asked to attached your Original Naturalization Certificate, before you mail make a photo copy and get that certified from the local Court in your area, and keep it for your record and mail them under certified returned receipt. with you form and letter.
