Might want to be certain that is true first or is it assumption? Depending on where you live they might have to be driving the vehicle at the time and police would usually need a reason to stop them. In my area and several others police have to have a reason beyond what you claim in order to investigate the situation. Do you know how many calls the police dispatcher receives like this (think they don't have license, think they're illegal, etc.) per day? They ignore those calls unless there's other serious considerations.

If you know them well, why don't you advise them to quit driving first, allowing them to take other alternatives. Admonish them that you'll "rat them out" if they don't stop. (And at the same time be sure to report the several thousand more that's in your town.) That should keep the officers busy since that's a high priority call from you. If you don't know them, then possibly you can find someone that does and ask them to speak with the individual.

I shouldn't try to read into this but I hope it's not your playing Mr./Ms. Police or Mr./Ms. Immigration Officer since the recent news broadcasts. Is this somebody you know or is it a neighbor down the street that has brown skin, an accent and an Hispanic last name?

As far as their alias, what affect does it have on you? Alias in what respect, false social security card, drug running, *** offender, outstanding warrants or terroristic inclinations? I think the crux of this matter is what it involves and how it involves you. Or are you meddling in somebody elses business? If so, you also should realize there can be repurcussions to you if they find out you did this. Aside from the license issue, it might be best to MYOB, if it's not of a serious nature but only you know with certainty.

noIf you're just meddling in somebody's business then I'd suggest you call directory assistance and ask for the number for 911 and while you're at it, report people that can't mind their own business!!! I'll let you use my cell phone and you can make unlimited calls of which there will be no limit!!!! Now, let your fingers do the walking!!!!! (LOL)

A person doesn't have a DL, a person uses a "preferred name". Where's the crime?

Under common law you can use any name you want for an honest purpose, in fact, the Federalist Papers were written using "assumed names".

There's no law asking people to have a DL, if you don't drive you don't need a license.

-THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE-

If this person is driving, but he is driving with a fake license, he/she needs to be reported. This person is probably here illegaly, that is why they are using fake ID's. They can be reported to local police, or if they are illegal, they can be reported to an immigration office. They could be a hazard on the road!

Sounds like someone scorned to me. Don't try to get even - not worth it. Just move on and be glad the person who hurt you is out of your life! Move on - I'm sure there are better people out there just waiting to meet you!

Dear Readers US CITIZENS and LEGAL RESIDENTS I direct you to that 'explora' always defending the illegals, always twisting things around. Slindy3 as an AMERICAN struck a nerve on that disgusting 'explora' and again she re-acted. I will help you slindsy3. Read below. You HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO REPORT ALL ILLEGALS, IT IS YOUR DUTY, IT'S HONORABLE and DON'T LET ANYONE PERSUADE YOU OF THE CONTRARY.

Slindy3: first you send a letter to the head of the US Immigration (find out what her/his name is in your city). At the same time, notify your Police Dept. Then you make nice calls or send e-mails to the Welfare office in your city, the same for Social Security Administration, notify the FBI. These are for starters. I do it all the time, and I sleep better.

Remember to watch your back! Patience often has its rewards and some people can wait a very long time until you least expect.....Nobody likes a rat. Give it specific thought.

Sometimes what u think are not actually the facts. So before u stir up a hornets nest be very sure what ur doing and that ur facts are very straight. Just because someone is not American does not mean they are in an illegal status.

How can you report someone that asks du.mb questions lol

There is no country,at least I am aware of,that requires someone to have a drivers license lol.

You do not need a drivers license in the United States my silly friend lol nor do you have to have it,duh!

And any person in the U.S. you,me,anyone is entitled to use an alias anytime they want to.And guess what? Its legal...

so you should report yourself back to school to learn abit about common knowledge...lol

marmaduk, I'm not disagreeing with you on this. It took guts for whistle blowers. But, a couple weeks ago, once again there was an article about how it all panned out for several of them and it wasn't good. It's got a lot of people scared to whistle blow now. It was either in USA Today or NY Times. If it can be found it's really worth reading.

By letting them ask another dumb question such as calling directory assistance asking for the number for 911 (although that's emergency). (I joke!)

While a person does not need a DL to go about his/her daily life, he/she does need a DL to operate a motor vehicle. In every state, traffic laws make it unlawful to operate a motor vehicle when:

  • The vehicle operator has never been issued a driver's license from the state department of motor vehicles,
  • The vehicle operator currently has his or her driver's license temporarily suspended, or
  • The vehicle operator has had his or her driver's license permanently revoked.

Traffic laws in most states differentiate between operating a vehicle without a valid driver's / operator's license, and operating a vehicle without proof of licensing (i.e. when a properly licensed driver fails to carry his or her driver's license).

See the link below for penalties by state.

    http://public.findlaw.com/traffic-ticket-violation-law/...ut-license-laws.html

Operating a motor vehicle with a DL does not necessarily mean that the person is an illegal Alien. It can also mean that the person is having difficulties taking the required driving test or cannot read or write. But this is not an excuse for driving without a DL.

He could be legally blind like one of my neighbors that decided to take a drive. Somebody called the police on him and I'm glad they did. They only questioned him, he denied having been driving, exclaiming he was legally blind and couldn't. He hasn't done it since. In instances like this it is understandable. The OP didn't expound on why he/she wants to report. Hopefully it's not out of being vindictive for some reason.

to Slindsy3, do what I suggested, YOU have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT despite what the pinko liberals try to tell you. If the person in question is illegal he can find a bleeding heart attorney to help him, if he is not, then he has nothing to worry about.

    Slindsy3,
Go ahead and report. Before you do, ask yourself one question, could you in any way or form get yourself questioned about anything in the future? You must have some relation to this person. Better make certain you don't have any skeletons in your own closet because one of them from somewhere just might walk out.
The welfare offices, etc. get complaints everyday and they know they stem from people who hold grudges against another. They don't stop what they're doing to investigate. Normally people tie their own ropes. Remember they'll have your e-mail address, paper trail, and there's ways of PAYING poeple to find out info and somebody might pay somebody off to find out who snitched.
Bottom line...it's going to come out sooner or later that you snitched - so be prepared. It's your back that's going to have the cross-hairs on it.

And then you've set yourself up for others to covertly retaliate against you. My advise - THINK TWICE.
