If you could take a pill to magically make you immediately American, would you take it? Or, if you were given a choice at birth would you have chosen to be born American?

I would answer 'No' to the first question, 'Yes' to the second one. Because if I would have been born American I would probably not be able to figure out that it's not worth to become an American.

Hey "No/Yes": Maybe you wanted to say,
"Because if I would have been born American I would probably not be able to figure out that it's not worth to BE an American"
instead of what you said?

If you don't think it's worth it, then why are you hanging around on a board like this? THis is for people who want to come to America and become Americans. Or could it be that you don't want to be American, you just want to live in thier country and leech off of thier good economy?

Make up your minds people, you ***** and moan about people coming to the USA to become citizens, then you complain when some don't want to become citizens. I don't want to be a USC just becasue I'm married to one. I pay my own way, I have never "leeched" off the system.

How many Americans who live in other countries give up their US citizenship? not many I'm sure, so why should foreign nationals give up their citizenship just becasue they live in the USA.

It looks like the poster "No/Yes" is trying to find a way around the dissatisfaction stemming from being an American (his own or of others voting on this board.) I suspect he's an American in disguise posing as an immigrant.

Pal, when you say,
"...around the dissatisfaction stemming from being an American (his own or of others voting on this board.)"
