Hey Hudson: one of the basic principles when you quote someone is not to modify what the other person said Wink. My original posting was:

Yest, it was a snide remark. Yours.

And you posted this; you put your words in my mouth. Please try to avoid doing it, OK surrender?

So, now I am ntfd3? whistling

I would suggest we stick with non-personal level of conversation and stay emotions free euro. I thought it was your credo so let’s maintain this trend.

I did not blame Poland, just pointing out a inconvenient fact that Poland was communist when those events happened. But whitewashing it and placing blame on someone else, which is what you apparently do on a regular basis (blaming the US for Poland becoming Communist), is what I call bunk. This is what I was getting at with the quotes. And I was using other people point of references as to describe that slippery slope you call "REAL HISTORY." Ignoring other people's viewpoints and centering on your own is what I call insolence on your part.

OMG! I can't believe your pure arrogance.
This is exactly what you are doing- ignoring other people's viewpoints and trying to prove them wrong even when they are right and you know it.
Just for the sake of excersising debate. To debate and win right? No matter who's wrong and who's right.

I never blamed US for communism. I blame the West for betrayal in Yalta.
And you know as everyone in this room does it is the REAL TRUTH and only one.

Wow, just wow.

At least I know you are a Jew. Maybe SunDevil is Middle Eastern and both of you are ashamed to admit your nationality.

You're blaming the wrong person.
If anything anti I am is only stupidity, arrogance and ignorance. Almost anything else will fly with me.

BTW: it is linked with our previous conversation here; some of those 'superpower countries' simply like to stick their noses everywhere.
And the Russian reaction came because of AMERICAN base, buddy.

WWEEEELLLLL< I could care less what Russia does, has done, or is going to do. The point is that the Europeans are big enough to take care of themselves without their favorite whipping boy, the US, that seems to get blamed for everything. In other words, the US should direct its resources to other areas and not Europe.

Hmmmmm but it is the USA who wants those bases. And yes, it very well might be because of Middle East. However it does not matter that much – MY POINT IS that Russia interferes again. You might be right about directing US resources to other areas but you are not right about this case – the USA want bases on our territory.
However it should not be Russia or the USA who is eligible to make a final decision. The final decision is solely in hands of Polish and CR hands.
