Question: If for some reason my AOS is cancelled will my EAD continue be valid until expiration date as long as I maintain my student status?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

A person can maintain student status while applying to adjust status. The caveat is that the person must maintain the student status. If, for example, you used the EAD then you would not be maintaining student status. Likewise, if you used advance parole. The EAD associated with AOS will be cancelled on the day the AOS is denied.

The relevant case law is Matter of Hoissenpour, 1974.
