H2B to J1 Trainee - Topic Powered by Eve Community

Hello!

Just short question: is it possible to change status from H2B to J1 being in USA? I'm in Poland right now but I think about going to the US on H2B visa first and then getting J1 visa applying for Training Program (18 months Internship). Is it possible to get new visa without going to my country? I don't know that because in Poland we say that one has to go back first when H2B visa expires.
I don't care about Section 212e then... But may I change the status from H2B to J1?

Hi

I think that nobody cares about Europeans in US especially if you are from Poland. Go back to home country and stay there! This is better for you. USA does not need more immigrants and visitors from Europe.
