Does the immigration officers stamp on Passports with US visit visa on Arrival and/or Departure?

Only arrival.

Ok they stamp on arrival.

But on the passport or on the customs form?

Do they stamp also for green card holders?

My husband (LPR) has never got anything stamped from US customs or INS when he has traveled back and forth, they just look at his GC.

As for my experience, when I entered USA on visa waiver, I got stamp in the passport and on the custom form. Same happened when I entered with visa. Now, when I travel with green card, they also always stamp my passport at POE (and did the same when enetered twice on Advance Parole).
I hear it may be different (no stamp) if you are entering the USA from Canada or Mexico.
