I am adjusting my status to PR based on marriage. I received a letter yesterday from INS. They asked me to come to their office in November for processing of the EAD. Is this the standard procedure? I thought they would send it in the mail.

No i had to go down there as well. I think it was the same day as the fingerprinting but I can't remember.

They took my prints and then a picture of me and I left with my card :)

Sounds cool! I talked to the INS a while back, and they said that when I get asked to come in for fingerprints, means that I am about halfway from getting my green card. Thanks Marie.
