Hello, I am a Canadian whom has been waiting for a H-2B to be processed.

A company in New Orleans, LA, has applied for the H-2B program through a lawyer in February.

The company is an offshore recruiter service whom places offshore personnel (welders, fitters, etc) & merchant seamen. I have done some checking and have noticed that in the past many H-2B permirs have been given to company's in this field.

I don't mind waiting as long as something comes of it. Does anybody know how long I should expect to wait for this to come through.
