me and my husband have been married for 13 years and i was wondering on how i can get his green card. we filled back in 1997 but the lawyer filled he was out of the usa and he was approved for a visa but he had to go to cuidad juarez and get it but show proof he was ther 8 months but he never went and know we are wanting to get his green card . i was needing to know how about getting this done if he was approved for a i-130 before and how about going to get green card and how much it will cost

xgomez: Let me guess...your husband didn't go to the Consulate in Juarez in 1997 because he wasn't really in Mexico like you guys pretended that he was - in reality, he was living illegally in America and figured that the scam wouldn't work.

Now, you have a problem...how do you explain that he wasn't really in Mexico, and has been living illegally in America the whole time?

At the very least, he is going to have to return to Mexico (for real)...and, if he is very, very lucky, your application for a waiver - based on your apparent hardship - will be approved and he may be allowed to return.

Your chances of a successful outcome are greatly reduced because of your previous attempt to circumvent the rules.

Yes, go to the ICE office nearest to where you live and register. They can arrange the renewal of the visa you were supposed to get before.
