Ukraine?
It's a good team, for sure, but never the best.

I would rather think of Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Italy and so..

But which do you think is the best and has best shot at World Cup?

Argentina had draw with Netherlands , 0-0.

But the saying goes that no American team ever won WC in Europe and no European team could ever get the same in America.

So, chances are that one of the European teams (Germany, Netherlands, Italy...?) will get the title.

If any American team gets it - it would be unprecedented victory.

well last time they were in Japan and Brazil won....I really do have my fingers crossed for them....and the reason why I say Argentina was doing pretty good till the last game is because I dont know if you know that in their previous game they won 6 to 0 ....

Japan isn't Europe Big Grin

Argentina finished first in it's sub-group.
Due to those high-scored wins before.

Brazil has better team.
(Always had. Argentina won two WCs and reached finals in 90 due to single best player it had, it never had the best team).

But since the tournament is in Europe it would be unprecedented victory if Brazil or any other American team won WC.

USA was eliminated from World Cup 2006.

And I also think that Brazil has a strongest team.

I'd like to watch semi-finals and finals.

I think it will be American team (Brazil, Argentina) vs. European team (Germany, Italy, Netherlands).

We will see.

Mpod, are you sure you aren't male? Confused
First time I see Russian speaker who claims to be 100% genuine woman - yet has a clue about soccer teams.

Another example of stereotyping...? Big Grin

I have a clue about a lot of things, including soccer (luckily, I am surrounded by enough men).

Doesn't matter how many men you are surrounded by, it's almost like the ultimate punishment for most Russian speaking women to hear or know anything about soccer.
Odd as it sounds, but that's just how it is.

The more sources you have, the more accurate information you get.
As for punishments, I am beyond that.

Though , why would it be a punishment?
