I talked to a marines recruiter and as of right now they are not taking anyone with a juvenile record or any criminal record. I think its cuz they have met their quota and that is a tactic to lower the amount of people wanting to get in. Now Im hoping that will change in time but how long does it take for a juvenile record to come off? Incident happend in 2004.

Have you looked into trying to have your juvenile charge expunged?? Talk to a good attorney. If you can have the charge expunged, it won't show up when background checks are made.
