Before the 'N' word was used there was so much foul language out of Beverly's mouth that a landfill could be filled with the amount. iperson didn't just wake up one day and decide to spit words out. It might've not been the right choice of words but neither were the ones used by Beverly which weren't just a 'one time' occasion. It's too bad the moderators didn't kick her off the board shortly after she appeared her.

i agree . beverly is a hater and not even 1 post she mentioned some other nationality's , ok .. not even 1 time ,all her posts about mexicans , she's just here to make an issue between mexicans and blacks because she's sick in her head and jobless and have nothing good to do in her life . and the webmaster is supporting her . the goverment can charge someone with a hate crime but the webmaster thinks it's a freedom of speach . or i guess he cann't read all her posts because she's all over the thread. babayyey or whatever his name is was banned bcoz he said the f word 9 or 10 times and sonofmichael is still around and we were forced to take his statment as a joke only..he cann't be serious .

I propose for the webmaster to start monitoring the board from now on, with the help of our reports, and start sanctioning for things written from this day onward. It seems unjust to retroactively punish some members while others are let roam free. Just a suggestion. Violations should be deleted from the board as well.

Perhaps one should be banned or suspended if one continually castigates the United States of America even while gripping tightly one's green card.....now that is pure hypocrisy...
I have another suggestion for the admin Sam, and this one is truly a good one, since I am on a roll today.
Would it be possible to have the ignore feature expanded a little bit to the effect that we don't see the posts AND threads started by the ignored posters? It would revolutionize the board and get rid of all the problems, at least partially.

If you can't take any name calling then don't do it yourself. Was being called a Yankee supposed to be offensive? I guess I missed that class in hypersensitivity training.
I never meant the polack or pollack (which ever is supposed be derogatory) as derogatory. Only mentioned it to point out the fact of being polish, nothing more. So, lighten up.

To iperson's post of January 09, 2008 10:46 PM - I am emphatically NOT punishing anyone retroactively. Babybeh's post was more than a day after I began monitoring this board due to repeated complaints over foul language for many years. Nonetheless, are you suggesting that I restore Babybeh? Since I suspended her only ONE day after my monitoring began, perhaps more notice may have been better. Please let me know your thoughts and I will consider restoring Babybeh.
To iperson's post of January 10, 2008 01:17 AM - I quickly checked your suggestion of ignoring entire threads with our tech folks and they say it is not technolgically feasible. However, please bear in mind that we want to grow this community. Currently, this community is almost 10,000 members. We would like to grow it about 4 fold in the next couple of years. One of the things we are taking a close look at is to move to another technology platform with much more bells and whistles (it will cost a lot more money though!) than this one. There is a chance that this may be possible in the new platform. When we move to the new platform, we will announce it in advance to get the community's views. But realistically this is still many months or more off.

Stillearning, I'm confused too. I grew up in a town dominated by P**** (PC term as yet unknown). After doing a google search it got worse. Some sites said Polak is bad. Still others said pollack is bad and yet others said neither is offensive. So which is it? Even the ones here Ipers and Needhelp contradicted each other. Question is, what is the proper shorthand word for someone from Polland?
