Well its not quite over yet I have to become a US Citizen next but I cant till after my 5 years. Does the 5 years go based on when my conditional residency began or does it go based on my approval for I751?

It is 5 years since you first got your conditional permanent resident card. To be clearer 5 years from the "Resident Since" date printed in your permanent resident card. You can apply 3 months before, so in fact you can apply 4 years and 9 months after the date you became a conditional permanent resident.

Bring everything you have to the interview, but don't expect the interview to be completed or your first application to be granted. The officer only can close your case and after that he will request you to file a new one under your current marriage.

I have already received my 10 yr green card. It came in the mail yesterday.
