I am very experienced and have the done the I-751 as well.

Get Sworn Notorized Affadavits,from people that known you and your husband as a married couple and also known you prior to get married.
Your In-Law, friends, his siblings...his family side support is more of an evidence,that marriage was real,than compared only friends doing an affadavit,because friends can be viewed also as "doing a favor" therefore its important from people who are older,such as in laws,maybe grand parents etc...

Now in all those affadavits,all those people should say and write down,how they know you 2 and how they know the marrieg was real,and mention activities they took with you guys as husband and wife....none of these people should mention why the marriage ended etc...or how bad he was.INS cares if you guys were married for real and was it for love...

Now.
You yourself can and should write an affadavit about yourself and how you and your husband met dated and got married...and in there u can mention how the married went down hill and mention the reasons and stress it gave you etc.

I know its stressful,believe me I went through this....

But here is my question though, you were suppose to do all that I mentioned when you sent your waiver in...are you telling me,you did not sent NOTHING when you sent your I751 Package as far evidence goes???

INS has mentioned many times on their webpage and on the application sheets "they do not except nor view any kinds of videos"

I have actually already done that. I do have sworn affadavits.

When I sent the I751 in I had sent in several different documents includint a sworn affadavit from my ex-mother in law. She never bashed her son all that she said wat that she knew that I entered the marraige in good faith and that she believed that I could be the one to help motivate her son to become a family man. She said that she has nothing against me and that she was sad when she found out about the divorce but understood because her son is very difficult to live with.

I alos sent in my own satement basically writing exactly what you just said and an affadavit from my own mother.

Now I have aquired more information to present to them namely statements from people that I knew before our marriage and after. I also have one from a friend of his that he has known since high school stating that he knew our marriage was real because he met me through my ex and all of us always visited each other and had BBQ's together.

I also have an old Car Inusrance policy that shows the address that we resided at and his name on the policy (even though he did not have a drivers lic. he still had to be on the policy because of his age) and an old loan note that shows his best friends mom co-signed for me to get the loan. My ex had a bad credit rating and was not able to co-sign for me and he never made enough money so his best friends mom who always treated him like her own son helped us out so that we could get a car.

I have another affadavit from a friend of mine that used to come and see us on ocasion namely a huge b-day party for me.

I actually managed to get a hold of my ex's arrest record which proves that he was into drugs!!! He was arrested after we were divorced for possesion and convicted. I am going to use this as evidence to support me in leaving him. What does everyone think?

If its after the fact, by all means. It amazes me how people can waste their lives away on drugs. I can think of more pleasurable things to spend money on, like a good cuban cigar.

You know the answer to the first question.

It would reflect on both people if one is doing drugs and the other stuck around. Unless it was a situation where there are kids involved and rehab was attempted. In yours that isn't the case so you made the right move.

This will help because it will show that the divorce was not of your actions (infidelity, abuse, criminal intent, etc). Your statement needs to reflect that continued marriage with someone who is violating major drug laws will detriment your legal status here. Attempts to get him sober, such as emails, insurance records, counseling records, etc, will also help.

Yes and no. It depends on what you did to get him sober/free from the drugs. Does his arrest record show anything while you were married?

You need more evidence...
do you have anyhting like joint accounts,joint credit cards? joint insurance,joint health insurance??? financial resposnibility shown is very good as evidence,showing you 2 also had financial obligations together etc...
U basically should have stuff that shows both if your names...like on insurance, car insurance,or electric or phone bills etc...
APT lease etc

PS: remember,all INS cares and wants to know by law,is ONLY A. was the marriage real and entered in good faith. and B. were 2 truly living together and sharing a living.

The fact he was a drug addict,or a criminal or whatever,does not nor will not help you as far the I-751 goes to remove the conditions.
Bottom Line, the only proof you have to show them,you guys were truly married and lived together and you ONLY came to the U.S. because of him and thats why married him,just for him.PERIOD!!!

Well, I have 13 satements from people now that I am going to submit during the interview. These are all in addition to the current one's that I already gave them when I filed my I751.

I also have my car loan note and insurance policy with my ex's name on it.

I believe that I am now ready for this interview. I hope that everything goes well... wish me luck.. oh ya and I hired a lawyer and he belives that I will be fine based on the statements that I have.

Update... I had my interview and everything went just fine. He told me that he believed me and I should have my card in about 3 weeks.
