when dertermineing income for support do they count how much money you make before taxs or after.if its before im ok but after i might be in trouble is workig 20 hours and making 9.50 hour enough you guys think or should i use my assets to.

before taxes. they go by gross, not by net

According to the poverty guidelines for the I-864 if you are supporting someone and there are 2 people in your household you need to make $15150 a year. Even if you work 52 weeks a year you are earning $9880. You either need to get more hours at this job or work another job 40 hours per week at about $7.50 an hour. Good luck Smile

In case you does not meet Poverty Guidelines then you may ask other household member with an income to cosponsor the Affidavit of Support. Otherwise you will need Additional Affidavit of Support from some friend or relatives.
