Dear Friends

I am life-lulac applicant.

I had my interview with INS officer on April, 27 2004. It is 8 monts and 19 days till today I have not recvd any dicision from INS. What should I do...does INS take this long or we have to after INS to get answer.

I am worried and confused becuase I have a 20 year old son who is in 2nd year of college. If I have to wait for ever then my son will be age out before I file for him to become legal.

If someone of you can advise me what should I do and where to go.

Thank you very much.

Regards
Dinesh

Hello Dinesh.....
Since you are LULAC member, does that mean you came with some sort of visa. Do you have an attorney??? Which INS office has your case....
Thanks and good luck...

What is your status in the US?
If he is a student and on F-1 hope he has never been out of status.

Hi FSN

My status is still not decided yet by INS.

My son is a 2nd year college student but he don't have any status and no F-1. My lawyer said I can file for my son only after I get my permenant residency. But it seems INS will take ever to approve my case and by then my son will 21 year and age out before I file for him.

I am looking for some good attorney who could help me to become my son a legal in america.
Could you please help me.

Thank you
