Ihope you can help me with this: My mom is not legal and she use a false name to work, now im trying to fix my status im 21 and she brought me here when i was about 8. My boyfriend is afraid that since she used a false name which she doesnt anymore that its going to affect me or him. Does it affect me and what can I do?

Not sure if it will affect you but I don't think so. My husband's dad was doing everything wrong - fake name, social security number - and ended up deported. It has not impacted our processing for Adjustment of Status for my husband.
