"The Virginia-born soldier was single with no children."
Sorry, you can't pin this one on immigrants. Didn't you read the story? Or, did you base your opinion solely on his last name? Talk about stereotyping.

...Retired Army Col. Terry Lee told Fox News that he worked with Hasan, who had hoped Obama would pull troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq. Lee said Hasan got into frequent arguments with others in the military who supported the wars, and had tried hard to prevent his pending deployment...
...Officials were investigating whether Hasan was his birth name or if he may have changed his name, possibly as part of a conversion to Islam. However, they were not certain of his religion...

Why are you supporting terrorists??? If you support terrorists then you are no better than they are ; you are the same !!!!
You know I don't support terrorists. This guy was a USC who went over the edge over possible deployment orders to a war zone. How humiliating is that? Stop pushing this off on immigrants. He was a nut job who went crazy. Period.

let's see if i am right
maybe he was even raped
but lets just wait and see for more information
The guy was upset over possible deployment to war zones. Did you read the article? Why make more of it than is there at this point? Pure speculation.

I read a news report that stated this guy was going online and standing up for suicide bombers on some forum .Comparing them to U.S. troops who die in the defense of other U.S. troops.
Im not defending this guy at all. Just the assumption that he is an immigrant based only on his name.
You mean we were wrong in allowing his parents or maybe even grandparents in. Remember he is a converted muslim. So his family couldn't of been extremists.

yeah as if "articles" are oracles of truth
You're the one who made speculations about the shooter, not me. He's still alive since the last time I checked the news. Stop acting like a moron and grow up.

How is he supposed to be an immigrant when he was born in VA?
Must have been watching Faux News too much LOL
Now here's a real news story worthy of attention...
Iraq Vet Might Lose "Everything" to Deportation
U.S. Army Spc. Jack Barrios calls wife Frances his "everything.
And he needs his everything now more than ever.
The 26-year-old Iraq vet suffers from nightmares, sleeplessness, sudden angry outbursts, aversion to emotional intimacy and other fallout from his post-traumatic stress disorder, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Along with counseling and anti-depressants, he relies on his 23-year-old Guatemala-born wife to cope.

Not that it matters, but he grew up Muslim - not a convert (at least according to a few sources I read this AM).
